Sauteed Cabbage
While on my weightloss journey, I am eating a lot more vegetables and trying to incorporate a variety of vegetables and seasonings. I love cabbage and needed a warm dish for the winter. This is simple to make and has great flavor.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
1 small sweet onion, chopped
1 small green cabbage
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons granulated garlic1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions
In a large saute pan, over medium heat, add butter. Add onion to pan. Cook for 5 minutes. Remove stem from cabbage and cut into 1/2 inch slices. Add cabbage to pan. Add salt, pepper, and garlic to pan. Cook for 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
