Green Bean Casserole
This recipe is a little different than the traditional green bean casserole. I needed to have a mushroom free recipe to meet the needs of my guest and I prefer frozen green beans. Sometimes I use fresh green beans but I cook the for 3 or 4 minutes before putting them in the casserole.
Ingredients
2 pounds frozen cut green beans, thawed10 3/4 ounce can cream of chicken soup10 3/4 ounce can cream of celery soup
1/2 cup milk1/2 teaspoon black pepper6 ounces French fried onion rings
Directions
In a large bowl, place green beans, chicken soup, celery soup, milk, and pepper. Mix well. Add 1/2 onion rings to green beans. Mix well.
Place mixture into 13 x 9 baking dish. Sprinkle remaining onion rings over green beans. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
