Crockpot Onion Soup
I had a bag of beautiful vidalia onions, and wanted to make onion soup, but didn't have the time to cook onion soup on the stove, so I turned to my crockpot to do some of the cooking for me. It was part of a great meal on a cold rainy night and it was delicious.
Ingredients
6 large sweet onions, about 4 lbs, sliced thin3 tablespoons flour1 cup dry white wine
6 cups beef broth1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce8 ounces shredded swiss cheeseTexas toast croutons
