Seasoned Rice and Broccoli
My husband and I love rice, and he loves his with lots of butter. This side dish is loaded with butter and seasoning. The butter makes it creamy while the broccoli adds nice color and texture, but really doesn't take away from the decadence of the dish.
Ingredients
3 cups water
1 1/2 cups long grain rice
2 cups small broccoli florettes
8 ounce butter
2 teaspoons granulated garlic
2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1 teaspoon pepper
Directions
In a large sauce pan, Boil water. Add rice, reduce heat to medium low, and cook, covered, for 10 minutes. Add broccoli, and cook covered for 10 minutes. Add butter, garlic, salt, and pepper, to sauce pan. Mix well. Cook, covered, for 5 minutes.
