Corny Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
5 pounds russet potatoes8 tablespoons butter1 cup half and half1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper2 teaspoons seasoned salt8 ounces fresh or frozen corn kernels
Directions
Wash and peel potatoes, cut in half and place in large sauce pan. Add water until potatoes are covered and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium and cook, covered for 15 minutes, or until potatoes are fork tender. Drain potatoes.
Place potatoes in a large bowl and mash. Add butter, half and half, salt and pepper. Mash until the potatoes have a smooth consistency. Add corn and mix well. Add additional salt and pepper as needed.
