Sweet Chili Shrimp and Pasta
My husband sent a recipe for Bang Bang Shrimp to me. I knew it would be a little too spicy and the heat from the sweet chili sauce would be enough. He loved it and said it was one of the best things I ever made.
Ingredients
1/2 pound linguini, cooked
1 cup sweet chili sauce
1 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons minced garlic
Directions
Add chili sauce, mayonnaise, lime juice, and garlic to a bowl. Mix well.
In a large saute pan, over medium heat, add olive oil. Heat for 1 minute. Add shrimp, paprika, and minced garlic to pan. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add sweet chili mixture to pan. Mix well. Reduce heat to medium low and cook for 2 minutes,.
Add linguini to pan. Mix until pasta is completely coated with sauce. Cook for 5 minutes.
