Stuffed Peppers
Growing up we always made stuffed peppers with green peppers. The red peppers are so much sweeter and tastier than the green peppers so it is a much nicer meal. If you prefer green peppers, you can use them. Orange and yellow peppers are also a nice substitute for the red or you can use all three.
Ingredients
1 cup cooked rice
4 large red peppers
1 pound ground beef
3 teaspoons seasoned salt
2 teaspoons granulated garlic
1 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
Directions
Cut tops off peppers and remove seeds. Steam in the microwave for 8 minutes.
in a large bowl, add hamburg, seasoned salt, garlic, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until seasongs are completely combined with ground beef. Add rice. Mix until rice is completely combined with ground beef.
Fill each pepper with 1/4 of the beef and rice mixture. Top each pepper with 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs.
Bake at 350 for 50 minutes. Serve with your favorite pasta sauce.
