Sausage and Peppers
Sausage and peppers was always a favorite for card night. After working all day, it is easy to prepare and quick to cook. There were rarely any leftovers for lunch the next day.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, cut into slices
1 red pepper, cut into strips
2 green peppers, cut into strips
6 links Italian sausage, either sweet or hot
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3 garlic cloves, minced
Directions
In a large saucepan, over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add onion, red peppers, and green peppers. Stir and cook for 5 minutes
Cut each sausage link into 4 pieces. Add to onions and peppers. Add salt, pepper, and garlic. Stir and cook for 15 minutes.
Serve on your favorite rolls with your favorite cheese.
