Quick and Easy Meatballs
My husband loves meatballs, so I almost always have a package of meatloaf mix in the freezer just in case he asks for meatballs for dinner. Prep time for this recipe is less than 20 minutes so it is easy to make last minute.
Ingredients
1 egg
.7 ounce Italian dressing mix
1 tablespoon water
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 1/4 pounds meatloaf mix
Directions
In a large bowl, add egg, Italian dressing mix and water. Mix well. Add breadcrumbs and stir until breadcrumbs are completely moistened. Let stand for 5 minutes.
Add meatloaf mix to breadcrumb mixture. Mix with your hands until breadcrumbs are completely incorporated into meat. Roll meat mixture into 1 1/2 inch meatballs.
Place meatballs on a baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes.
Add meatballs to your favorite sauce.
Note: Use same recipe to make meatloaf. Shape meat mixture into a loaf and place in a loaf pan. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
