Pulled Pork
Pulled park is a favorite when everyone gets together to watch a sporting event. It takes all day to cook and tastes even better the next day, so you can make it ahead of time. If there are leftovers, I will use them to make nachos or quesadillas.
Ingredients
1 sweet onion, chopped
4 - 5 pound pork butt
1 cup apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
4 cups water
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons pepper
2 teaspoons granulated garlic
1 bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce
Directions
Place onion in bottom of crock pot.
Place pork butt on top of onions.
In a large bowl, add vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, water, salt, pepper and garlic. Mix well. Pour over pork butt. Cook on low for 10 hours.
Remove fat from the pork. Shred pork with two forks. Place shredded pork in a large sauce pan. Add barbecue sauce. Mix well. Cook on low for 1 hour.
