Pork Lo Mein
I love making Chinese food. I don't make anything fancy, but have have learned to make some of my favorite dishes. I try to make most of my recipes with fewer fat and calories than the restaurant version.
Ingredients
8 ounces linguini or spaghetti2 tablespoons canola oil
1 pound boneless pork, cut into thin strips2 teaspoons granulated garlic
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons oyster sauce
8 ounces broccoli slaw
6 scallions, chopped
Directions
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, rinse, and set aside.
In large sauce pan, over medium heat, add oil. Once oil is heated, add pork and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes. Add soy sauce and oyster sauce. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add brocolli slaw. Mix well. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add cooked pasta to pork and vegetable mixture. Mix until pasta is coated with soy sauce and oyster sauce. Add scallions. Cook for 5 minutes.
