Easy Chili
This chili can be put together in less than 20 minutes. As the title says, it is easy to do, it is quick to make, and if you have time to let it simmer on the stove for a little while it has the taste of a chili that took a lot more time to make.
Ingredients
1 small onion, chopped1 pound ground beef
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
15 1/2 ounces salsa
15 1/2 ounces black beans, rinsed and drained
Directions
In a large saucepan, over medium heat, add onion and ground beef . Cook for 10 minutes, breaking meat up with a spoon, until meat is cooked and crumbled.
Add salt, pepper, chili powder, and red pepper. Mix well. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add salsa and black beans. Reduce heat to medium low and cook for 1 hour.
