Crockpot Beef Stew
There is nothing better than coming home at the end of a long day to smell Beef Stew cooking in the crockpot. All you need to do is heat up some biscuits or garlic bread and dinner is ready.
Ingredients
2 pounds lean stew beef, cut into bite size pieces2 teaspoons seasoned salt2 teaspoons ground black2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon celery salt
2 teaspoons sweet paprika4 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 cups beef broth
3 russet potatoes, cut into bite size pieces1 large sweet onion, cut into bite size pieces8 ounces carrots, cut into 1/4 inch slices
5 celery stalks, cut into 1/4 inch slices8 ounces sliced mushrooms
Directions
Trim fat from beef and cut into bite size pieces.
In a large bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic, celery salt, paprika and flour. Add beef and mix until completely coated.
In a large saute pan, heat oil over medium high heat. Add beef and cook for 3 - 4 minutes until lightly browned.
Place beef in crock pot. Add beef broth and mix well. Add potatoes, onion, carrots celery and mushrooms. Mix well.
Cook on low for 6 hours.
