Crockpot Beef and Mushroom Marsala
I had enough leftover beef after a family party to create a new recipe with the leftover mushroom gravy. The house smelled wonderful all afternoon while it was cooking. The final product tasted just as good. I served it over egg noodles.
Ingredients
2 pounds lean beef, cut into large pieces
1 sweet onion, chopped1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon ground black2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3/4 cup marsala wine
1 recipe mushroom gravy
Directions
Season beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
In a large saute pan, heat oil over medium high heat. Add beef and cook for 3 - 4 minutes until lightly browned.
Place beef in crock pot. Add onion, mushroom gravy, and marsala. Mix well.
Cook on low for 6 hours.
