New England Clam Dip
A favorite of my first husband and his family is clam dip. Way back when it was right next to the onion dip in the store. That is a thing of the past. I created my own recipe, which is much better than the packaged clam dip, and was a favorite at summer cookouts.
Ingredients
1 pound fresh chopped clams16 ounces light cream cheese3 tablespoons Worcestershire
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
Directions
Let the cream cheese come to room temperature.
In a 2 quart baking dish, add all of the ingredients. Mix until dip is smooth.
Bake at 375 for 10 minutes. Mix well. Bake at 350 for another 10 minutes.
Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
