Ham Spread
I needed a quick appetizer, there was leftover ham salad in the refrigerator, so I decided to repurpose it into an appetizer. A little cream cheese, a spin in the food processor, and some nice crackers made a great appetizer. I re-tested it to make a formal recipe with an ingredient list and to make it ham spread instead of a repurposed salad.
Ingredients
8 ounces cream cheese
1 pound ham
3 tablespoons sweet green relish
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
Directions
Let cream cheese come to room temperature.
Cut ham into cubes. Place ham and cream cheese in a food processor. Blend for 20 - 30 seconds, or until ingredients are completely mixed.
Add relish, mayonnaise, and mustard. Pulse 15 to 20 times or util it has a smooth consistency.. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Serve with crackers
