Guacamole
Guacamole is a great appetizer on its own, but it can be used for so much more. It can be part of a layered dip, a spread on toast or a sandwich, a topping on a taco salad, or a condiment served with a quesadilla or nachos.
Ingredients
2 plum tomatoes4 ripe avocados
1 tablespoon lime juice2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
Remove seeds from tomatoes, chop, and place in a bowl. Cut the avocados in half, remove the seed, and scoop out the flesh into the bowl. Add lime juice, garlic, salt, and pepper to bowl. Mash until all ingredients are combined and avocados are smooth.
Refrigerate for at least one hour.
Serve with tortilla chips.
