Buffalo Chicken Spread
I have created many Buffalo Chicken recipes because it is a favorite flavor. Chicken is a versatile ingredient that can be used in so many types of food such asappetizers, sandwiches, pasta dishes, and salads, so it is easy to create a variety of recipes. This is one of my favorites because it includes both spicy buffalo sauce and blue cheese.
Ingredients
16 ounces fresh shaved chicken or chopped chicken breast
4 ounces buffalo sauce
16 ounces light cream cheese1/2 cup mayonnaise
4 ounces crumbled blue cheese
Directions
In a medium saute pan, over medium heat, add chicken and buffalo sauce. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently, or until chicken is cooked. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
Let cream cheese come to room temperature. In a large bowl, add cream cheese, mayonnaise, and blue cheese. Mix well.
Add chicken to cream cheese mixture. Mix well. Refrigerate for at least one hour.
Serve with crackers and celery sticks.
