Blue Cheese and Cranberry Spread
I created this recipe while walking through the supermarket trying to decide what to make for a Christmas party I was going to attend. I love blue cheese, so that had to be the base of the recipe. I needed red and green, so it was festive. Dried cranberries for the red and scallions for the green. This has been one of my most requested appetizers when I ask the host 'What can I bring?'
Ingredients
16 ounces cream cheese
8 ounces crumbled blue cheese
5 ounces dried cranberries
5 scallions, chopped
Directions
Let blue cheese and cream cheese come to room temperature.
Place all the ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Serve with crackers.
