Asian Dip
I love Asian food. The the combinations of sauces and seasonings make the flavors so appetizing and enjoyable. This recipe was inspired by a stir fry. The stir fry included broccoli, which really didn't work in this dip.
Ingredients
8 ounces cream cheese2/3 cup shredded carrots4 scallions, chopped
1 cup cooked chicken breast, diced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar1/2 cup mayonnaise
wonton wrappers, optional
cooking spray, optional
Directions
Let cream cheese come to room temperature.
In a large bowl, add carrots, scallions, chicken, soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, and rice wine vinegar. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Add cream cheese and mayonnaise to chicken and vegetable mixture. Mix well. Place mixture into a 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
Serve with crackers or make wonton chips.
To make wonton chips: Cut each wonton wrappper into two triangles. Place on a cookie sheet. Spray with cooking spray. Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes, or until edges are golden brown. Sprinkle with salt.
