Apple Cranberry Spread
After picking apples in the Fall, I wanted to make a quick appetizer with the fresh apples. I always rely on cream cheese for quick appetizers, so I went down that road for this recipe. It is a perfect appetizer for the Fall and Winter holidays and can also be served as a rollup.
Ingredients
16 ounces cream cheese
2 red delicious apples
1 table spoon lemon juice
5 ounces dried cranberries
2 teaspoons apple pie spice
Directions
Let cream cheese come to room temperature.
Peel apples and remove seeds. Chop apples.
Place apples in a large bowl. Add lemon juice to apples. Mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Serve with crackers.
