Pork Dumplings
This recipe is a little sweet and a little spicy and is so good. One time when I made this, people were eating the dumplings just as fast as I could steam them. Everyone loved the dumplings so much, I was making them just about every time we had company.
Ingredients
12 ounces pork sausage2 scallions, sliced thin1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic24 square wonton wrappers
Directions
In a large bowl, add pork sausage, scallions, soy sauce, chili sauce and garlic. Mix well.
Brush edges of a wonton wrapper with water. Place 1 tablespoon of pork mixture in the center of wrapper. Gather the edges of the wrapper together to completely enclose the filling. Repeat this for the remaining wonton wrappers.
Place a steamer in a large pot with 1 inch of water. Heat water until it simmers. Place dumplings in steamer 1 inch apart. Steam for 9 minutes. You will have to do this in batches.
