Mini Barbecue Meatballs
Meatballs are a party favorite and there are so many flavors of barbecue sauce, you can choose the sauce to match the theme of the party. There are other sauces you can use, such as teriyaki, sweet and sour, honey mustard, or buffalo.
Ingredients
1 egg
.7 ounce Italian dressing mix
1 tablespoon water
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 1/4 pounds meatloaf mix
18 ounces favorite barbecue sauce
Directions
In a large bowl, add egg, Italian dressing mix and water. Mix well. Add breadcrumbs and stir until breadcrumbs are completely moistened. Let stand for 5 minutes.
Add meatloaf mix to breadcrumb mixture. Mix with your hands until breadcrumbs are completely incorporated into meat. Roll meat mixture into 3/4 inch meatballs.
Place meatballs on a baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes.
Add meatballs to your favorite sauce.
Place meatballs in a saucepan. Add barbecue sauce and mix well. Heat, covered, on medium low for 20 minutes.
